A striking men's haori in deep navy, with a secret hidden inside: the lining is a hand-painted crouching tiger prowling through an ink-brushed rocky landscape. This haori can be worn either way - understated navy on the outside, or turned to let the tiger take centre stage.
The outer cloth is raw silk fabric woven in navy with a fine all-over geometric micro-pattern that gives it a soft, textured depth up close. The pale sky-blue lining carries the tiger artwork in browns, greys and gold, a bold and confident motif in the classic Japanese style.
Wear it open over a kimono for a traditional layered look, throw it over a shirt and trousers as a light statement jacket, or reverse it whenever you want the tiger on show. A real one-of-a-kind conversation piece.
This haori has no fastenings - it is designed to hang open, or can be tied with a separate haori himo ties (not included).
