A blue-grey men's nagajuban with a deep navy collar, likely from the mid to late Showa era, around the 1960s to 1980s. The body runs in wide horizontal bands of cloud and landscape - boats on water, pines, bridges and small figures moving through them, in blue, grey and soft brick red. The sleeves are cut from a different, paler cloth printed with a festival procession, figures carrying drums and banners along the length of the arm. The inner lining is a warm brown.
Traditionally, a nagajuban is worn under the kimono.
Wear it as a light house robe, throw it on over swimwear as a resort cover-up, or style it as a relaxed tunic over jeans.
A belt (obi jime) is not included but can be purchased separately.
