A grey-green men's nagajuban with a deep navy collar, unlined, thin and lightweight, likely from the mid to late Showa era, around the 1960s to 1980s. Hand drums, shamisen, folding fans, lacquered boxes and sprays of pine are printed across the whole cloth in soft brown, blue and cream. The ground beneath them carries a fine hexagonal pattern that only shows up close.
Traditionally, a nagajuban is worn under the kimono.
Perfect as a soft robe at home or by the pool, or worn loose over jeans for an easy, casual look.
A belt (obi jime) is not included but can be purchased separately.
