A refined black sheer summer haori, most likely from the late Showa era (around the 1970s-1980s), made for warm-weather wear in a fine, see-through weave. The textured fabric is woven all over with a flowing wave pattern, and a single family crest (kamon) sits at the centre back. One crest marks it as a slightly more formal haori, traditionally worn over a kimono, while the sheer weave keeps it light for the summer months. Worn open, it falls softly and moves beautifully.
Throw it over a simple outfit to instantly elevate your look, or wear it as part of a more formal look.
Haori ties (haori himo) are not included for this item but can be purchased separately.
