This vintage silk kimono features a vivid pink base with an all-over mizutama (water ripple) pattern, subtly woven in jacquard for a textured, flowing effect. The design evokes the movement of water, giving the piece a sense of graceful dynamism.
On the upper back, a single family crest (ichimon) is faintly visible: the Fusen-kiri (浮線桐), a stylized kiri (paulownia) crest rendered with soft, flowing lines. This crest suggests that the kimono may have once been worn for semi-formal occasions.
