The mid-brown face is left completely plain. The reverse opens into a beautiful scene - temple roofs among trees, a still pond, bamboo and a teapot set among them, worked in muted green, grey and cream, with the buildings drawn in fine detail down to the roof tiles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe piece is double-sided.
