The navy face is left plain, its fine texture showing only close up. Turn it over and the reverse is a soft periwinkle blue carrying a cream panel across the back, hand painted with snow-covered mountains, a thatched hut by the water, a small boat and a flowering plum branch reaching across the top. An artist's signature and a red seal are set into the lower corner of the painting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe piece is double-sided.
